tummy time

Ahhh, tummy time. A necessary and fun activity for all babies. Although with our little Noah well, it's not always good times. You see our little Noah...has a big head! (It sort of runs in the family!) He does well when he is upright, however lifting it from a tummy position is pretty hard for him. So I was elated one day a little over a month ago that he seemed to be enjoying his tummy time.

Propping him up on the Boppy made it so much easier for him.

How cute are his arm dimples?

"I'm trying Mommy, I really am!"

This made me giggle because he looks like a big boy lounging around.

It's hard to choose but I'm pretty sure this one is my favorite.

It was a successful tummy time.

chronicles of noah: st. patrick's day

Having Irish blood running through our veins, regardless how small the percentage I couldn't resist dressing Noah up for his first St. Patrick's Day. My excuse for buying him two outfits was if he were to spit up on one I would have another one handy to continue his cuteness. Nate laughed because he knows the truth - I simply couldn't resist either one!

Mommy loves her little Irish boy!

Such a dapper baby - look at his hat! I had no idea his shoes were so big until I looked at this picture!

Noah and I went to visit Grandma Joanie at work, which is where I used to work too! We had a great time showing Noah off to all the ladies. He was quite a hit!

Sleepy Irish boy after a busy day with his sweet baby feet.

Noah was feeling super squirmy! His shirt says, "I'm a McCutie!" And danged if he isn't!

easter 2010

This year will be the year of celebrating firsts. Holidays are that much better now that we get to share each special day's magic and rituals with Noah. But for now, it's pretty much just dressing him cute. This year was his first Easter!

A man & a woman had a little baby, yes they did. They had three in the family - and that's a magic number.

Auntie Amy snuggles Noah at church.

Noah, just chillin' out on the couch!

I love this face! What a precious little man!

Grandpa Pete loves his grandson.

Ben can't wait to hold Noah. Everytime we see him he sticks out his arms and gets ready to sit down. He loves his cousin!

chronicles of noah

Noah, 5 days old

Noah, 13 weeks old

It is amazing how babies can grow overnight. As I changed Noah's diaper this morning I was suddenly aware that he took up the majority of the changing table. Later as I attempted to gingerly place him in his swing not only did his head bump the bar but his feet are starting to hang over the edge. He's only three months old. It's true what they say, it goes so fast. Blink and you'll miss it. I am treasuring each and every moment, the good days as well as the not so good days, it's all an adventure. I'm glad I'm along for the ride.

here we go!

I never really thought of myself as a blogger and never imagined myself starting one but I have been very inspired by the blogs of a few of my friends. I wanted to start this page so people we love who live far and near can have a window into our world. Especially now since we have our precious Noah! Becoming parents has changed us forever. We are better people for it. I think one of my favorite things about becoming a mother , other than the fact I am so blessed to care for my breath taking son everyday, is how much closer I am to God because of it. Shortly after I gave birth a realization came over me as I thought about my own son - God sacrificed absolutely everything for us. The impact of His sacrifice is that much more clear and real to me now that I have a child of my own. It is an amazing feeling and my heart is full. Our lives are busy and we have lots to talk about! Please check back often as I am hoping to post info/pictures at least a couple of times per week of what is going on with our family!
